Need help about benefits? Income support and ESA?

Ok I'm getting income support but have to change to employment support allowance (I can't study full time on income support) so from the day I put in the claim for ESA (yesterday) I was told I had to ring up and stop my income support which I did, I was told I would get paid my income support up till yesterday but the ESA takes few weeks to process so cus I stoped the income support I won't have any money until the ESA gets processed so what am I supposed to do for money until then?
